    Marlins @ Mets

Last and lets hope, regular season series at Shea.

The next 72 hours of my life will be consumed by this. I don't know what else to say, i'm nervous as hell.

    -----------

Game 1-Chris Volstad RHP Vs. Mike Pelfrey RHP

The really need tonight's game, because I can't say I'm too confident with Niese facing Nolasco tomorrow.

Make no mistake about it. Fredi and the Fish want to stick it to the Mets here.

I doubt it, he threw a career high # of pitches last game out. Around 120 or so I believe. Throwing him out there on 3 days might backfire with a terrible outing and would then screw us even if we did make it in the playoffs.

Agreed. It doesn't make any sense to move him up when he's still going to be pitching in a meaningful game on Sunday. Let him pitch on 4 days rest and get his best and just hope that Niese and/or the offense steals one tomorrow. That's why I said tonight is really a must-win to take 2 out of 3 in the series.

Would much prefer a healthy Maine in that spot but I am not too worried about Neise against a free swinging Marlins team.

    4 stranded through 2

We need to get that big hit before Volstad settles in

    Phils winning 7-1.

Even if we do get in the playoffs as the wild card, I don't think there's any chance we beat the Cubs..
