Playoffs start tomorrow. It's depressing that neither New York team will be around this year, but I'll still be watching. Who you guys got advancing?
I'm going with Cubs vs. Brewers in the NLCS and Angels vs. Rays in the ALCS.

Anyone but the Cubs, Phillies, Dodgers, Red Sox, White, or Angels.

I want Rays vs. Brewers just so someone at Fox goes on a murderous rampage.

The Subway Series. God, what an exciting time in NY.

Don't forget about what happened during that very same week: the Monday Night Miracle.

Funny. As much as I'd like to f Fox over, that would just be bad for baseball. Don't want that.

Cubs in the World Series would be best case scenario.

Absolutely. I think a Cubs vs. Rays World Series would be the most fun to watch, but I think the Angels will be representing the AL.

I'll never forget in 03, Fox was mere outs away from getting Cubs/Red Sox in the battle of the "curses".

Cubs/Sox is what they want now based on market sizes but it wont be the same since the Red Sox are probably baseball's most hated team.

Manny hits his 25th post season career homer. Most of all time.

they need to move a lot of dead weight...you can't have Matsui, Manny, and Damon...

got to try and trade someone....

think we can work Detroit again and give them either Matsui or Damon for Carlos Guillan?

Then maybe move Cano for Matt Cain...

    Maybe sign Baldelli?

    Sign Hudson

Grab Eric Byrnes if you eat his entire salary? Then you can move both Damon and Matsui?

    Then at leas you go

    Damon/Byrnes LF/DH
    Jeter SS
    A-Rod 3B
    Manny LF/DH
    Posada C
    Guillan 1B
    Nady RF
    Baldelli CF
    Hudson 2B

    Then sign CC

    CC Sabathia
    Matt Cain
    Wang
    Joba
    Hughes

unless you sign Moose and throw Joba back in the bullpen

    ahhh...to dream

I agree 100%, who are the top 2 HR hitters off all time. Barry binds and hank Aaron, do yo downgrade either record because they had so many more at bats than Babe Ruth.

No because a career is a career, and they had more HRs at the end of theirs. You cant downgrade Manny's record, because he had more rounds.
