    Angels Suck

its only 1 game but still......this year was supposed to be different, more hitting...bull$hit....

what happened to angel baseball? small ball? get em on, move em over, etc? why are we waiting for a 3 run HR each time?

When did Scioscia become grady little and leave lackey in too long...i was screaming for him to pull him before drew and bay came up....

matthews jr starting? an 11 million dollar a year failure....juan rivera sitting on the bench...why?

why didnt we pinch run for vlad down 2-1 in the 8th?

    No clutch hitting+bonehead plays=FAIL (again)

Vlad getting thrown out at 3rd in the 8th even pissed me off, but I really think you guys will be alright. No need to panic yet.

Not sure who I want to win this series, im not pulling against the Agels but hopefully the Sox can pull this one out.

All the teams that made the playoff's in the A.L im actually somewhat fond of. The NL on the other hand...I hate em all

I don't mind the Angles at all. I hate the Sox. Thing is, if they beat the Angels, I think they'll run it again.

When did Vlad become amazingly slow?

Hes had that back and knee problem.

    Probably from his text-book swing.

Not only is he amazingly slow but he was also amazingly stupid on that particular play. He ran right through a stop sign and Youkilis had the ball before Vlad even stepped off of 2nd base. That was a very, very costly base-running error.

I think you're right that if the Sox win this series that they will run the table, but I'm still confident that the Angels advance.

Means nothing if you get swept in the first round...

And I wonder, if Vlad was a Yankee instead of A-Rod, would he be getting the same heat about not being able to hit in the big spot?

It doesn't, but I find a 5 game series after 162 games to be a little silly.

Yeah, but that's baseball. I'd prefer a 7 game series myself.

I hope you're right, but I still think the Rays will win the AL.

    + a million

The wild card is bad enough, but if we must have it, the 5 game series is a total sham and a disgrace. Way too often we're seeing inferior teams advance in the playoffs as a result.

Wildcard should have to play 4 road games. Not that it makes much of a difference in this series.

7 games or 100 games wouldnt make a difference for the angels vs. bos in the playoffs...11 straight losses..ridiculous. well at least i still have the jets

Not over yet. I think Boston wins tonight, but if Lackey and the Angels find a way to beat Lester tonight, they would have the pitching matchup advantage in game 5.

    Ervin Santana vs. Daisuke Matsuzaka.

Lester's is tough, so I agree that Boston will win tonight. I hope not because I also agree that the Angels have the advantage in the pitching match-up in game 5.

The Angels really are playing like they don't give a fudge if they win or not. Just some boneheaded play and at-bats out there all series.
