    Rangers Win in Prague!

    2-1

Lundvist was awesome, Naslund looked great and got goal #1
Dubinski got the game winner on a nice wrist shot through a screen.

I just have this gut feeling scoring is going to be a problem for us this year.

Caught the game today at the Bohemian Beer Garden in Astoria it was a opening day party sponsored by MSG and the Rangers there had to be over a thousand fans . What a great day and what a great place the beer garden is, if they ever have another event there you should check it out. Thank God hockey is back.

Good pair of wins in Prague for the boys. Hopefully the new guys will click and Drury and Gomez can step up and get it done.

I hate to be so optimistic after seeing the boys against only one opponent,
but the team concept seems to be fully realized without Jagr.
This team reminds me of a cross between the Devils a few years back and recent Sabers teams.
Lets see if we come back down to earth.

Perfect analogy! This is the team I always wanted them to be, fast, forechecking and swarming. New era of Ranger hockey. Freakin love it!

I did 'Rangers in 60' for Game 1 & pitched the NFL to watch Game 2 live.
Based on 2 games, this is a COMPLETELY different team.
I know, I know, it's the NYR. They can do this to you. The difference is what has already been mentioned; no Jags.
No more deference to him or his style. Gomez gets to fly up & down the ice and none of the lines have that 'lumbering' style.
Only due to ridiculous Lightning goaltending were these scores close. 4-1 or 5-1 was what they realistically could have both been.
If Drury & Gomez can truly get through to this team we may be in for a fun ride. If it is allowed to be another prima donna Ranger squad then it will be miserable.
I am betting on the former.
