    OT: F'n Sox.

Down 7-0 and win 8-7. This team DOES NOT quit.

Good thing because they certainly can't match the Rays' young talent.

A friend of mine feels that if they won tonight, they are taking it all the way...I have my reservations about that......

It was so ****ing stupid seeing the fans leave when the Rays went up 7-0.

Given that team's history with 2 recent comebacks, that just looked so pathetic.

I agree. It's different with football a Monday Night Miracle type thing happens very very rarely. Still I would not leave, much easier in baseball to get right back in a game. Most likely fake Sox fans post 2004.

If Beckett continues to pitch like John Burkett at the tail end of his career, it will be over in 6.

how does that comment have to do with anything being said here? a great comeback now evaluates young talent?!

I've read your second sentence three times now and I have no idea what you are trying to say, so I'll just respond to your first sentence. The OP said that the Sox don't quit. I think the Rays have a better team -- more talent, more athletic, etc. The Red Sox, although less talented than the Rays, have a veteran club that does not give up and it is why they are now still in the series instead of cleaning out their lockers for the season. I didn't think my point was that confusing or controversial.

    Rays/Red Sox I don't care.

As long as they beat the Phillies.

I will NEVER criticized Girardi again. That what the worst manager blunder I seen in my life.

How can you leave those two bums (Belfour, Wheeler) face Ortiz and Drew. Where is the lefty?

    +100000000000000

Though I'd somewhat prefer it was the Rays, the suffering of Philadelphia is my first priority.

Yankee fans would have been booing when it was 5-0 and would have left in the 3rd inning.

Typical Sox fan despite a GREAT comeback by his team still obsessing over the Yankees...sad actually..

Hey buddy theres no excuse for those fans leaving POINT BLANK..don't try and make it look ACCEPTABLE by talking about Yankees fans...

Yes, Balfour was certainly a bum when he was keeping lefties to a .120/.194/.169 line this season, while striking them out 40% of the time.
