JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri (CNN) — After warning an audience Monday in Missouri that a government run by Democrats would “gut” defense spending, Palin asked the crowd: “Do they think that terrorists have all of a sudden become the good guys?”
“So what do they think?,” Palin mused, referring to Democrats. “Do they think that terrorists have all of a sudden become the good guys? And changed their minds? No, the terrorists still seek to destroy America and her allies and all that it is that we stand for: freedom, tolerance, equality. The terrorists have not changed their minds.”
Her question was new, but Palin was pushing an argument she has made frequently in the closing week of the campaign — that Democrats in Congress, led by Rep. Barney Frank, favor a cutting the defense budget by a fourth.
“This is not the time to gut the defense budget, and this is not the time to entrust the powers of the federal government to the one party rule of Obama, Pelosi and Reid,” Palin said.
Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, has said he would favor a 25 percent cut in defense spending, but Obama has said he would actually increase military spending.
I wish she would go back to real america, the capitlist part of the country that heavily taxes corporations and distributes their earnings to citizens. The "free" part of the country which favors censorship, invasion of privacy and taking away a women's right to choose.
We get it, sarah. You are firmly entrenched in the pockets of the military-industrial complex.
Sarah says "yes, I understand that the average joe six-pack is hurting. we are conservative republicans....that means that we are for less taxes for Americans. Um, except for the billions of tax payer dollars that must go to boeing, lockheed-martin, ratheon, kbr, etc, etc."
I guess Joe six pack does not mind using his tax payer money to nation build countries half way around the world. Joe the plumber might be upset...until they wave some flags in front of him, insert an evil dictator and spin a tale about how they hate us for our freedom. Suddenly Joe the plumber thinks that higher taxes are A Okay.

Sheeple, google 'defense spending by countries' and see what you get
You will be confronted with the numbers that the United States spends more money on military contracts then most of the rest of the world COMBINED. Then tell me who pays that bill and what exactly is that money being spent on.
I'll expect an answer from you around 4:10 tomorrow (or ten minutes after you call Sean Hannity's show to ask him what he thinks you should say)
No. Iraq, blockhead. You know, the country we sent cold hard cash to on pallets. The country that you fake Conservatives have no problems spending billions and billions on.
You can't make this **** up.
Here is guy that thinks he believes in conservative ideals. Yet he makes every excuse in the book for a president that has committed over 3 Trillion American dollars to a middle eastern country half way around the world. Nothing speaks more to conservative principles then nation building!
He fears that Obama may be a socialist, yet he has no problem supporting a president who engaged in the definition of economic socialism over the past few months.
And why, despite all of these contradictions, does he support Bush and his administration? Because the president has a (R) next to his name
