    You're kidding, right?

Such an egregious disregard for money cannot be dismissed with just a flippant "So?".

You say that as if we did not vote them in and we did not encourage them to never cut spending and to never raise taxes?

You're right, we get the government we deserve. Our people do not financial responsibility yet, so this is what we get.

No I am wondering why the figure being more than those other figures added up means anything? I mean whats the relationship? The comparison is meaningless.

    r u deranged?

You honestly can't see why spending money on this BS might be more grating then spending pennies on the dollar for Nasa or the Louisiana purchase..

This is just what we need, republicans lecturing on fiscal responsibility. What's next? Pacman Jones lecturing on how to behave in strip clubs?

Do you realize that the Fed's money comes directly from the income tax?

The amount the Fed charges the US government in interest on money it loans to the US government is the exact same number as the total of income tax collected on the taxpayers.

So who's paying for this again??

I think it helps put the figure into perspective.

Well, what exactly were the benefits of Vietnam, NASA and the Iraq war?

At least there's an actual reason for this.
