Never gave the kid a chance. Mark my words, Caulcrick will make an NFL's team final roster next year (remember Ward was on the Jet's P.S. at one time.). The kid is a player with a lot of heart, something the coaching staff and a few players' on the Jets lack.

The Jet's have more to worry about than cutting Caulcrick.

    Pointless.

How about Jets cut Mangini and sign him to the fat useless gum chewing buffoon squad.

What was the point of this move in week 17? Why?

"Thanks for being on the practice squad....now that you know our "system" and seem to have what our two other RBs lack - Mass, we think its time to randomly cut you loose and sign some other guy who hasn't been on an NFL roster".

You know, just because Mangini is a Genius.

Haven't you guys figured out by now that these practice squad guys get cut every once in a while so someone else can take his place, but the guy that is cut doesn't really go anywhere. He just hangs around until they reshuffle the practice squad again so this way they actually have access to more players than they're really supposed to have. Remember the CB from Rutgers that got cut and brought back 3 or 4 times last year? Same thing going on now.

because this is what mangini spends his time doing instead of preparing his team...just ask manny collins
