    Umm, none?

How is any baseball team more "American" then the others? It's a totally ridiculous suggestion.

Don't mind him, he's just taking my comment in the other thread way to seriously. Not sure why he decided to make another thread to cry and moan about the Yankees.

If you mean like Kerry Rhodes 06-07 seasons than yes. He was arguably the best safety those 2 seasons. A down year is a down year, I expect Rhodes to be back next season and continue on what he did those two seasons.

Yankees having the highest win percentages in the game with the most WS wins and are the storied franchise of the sports. They are the most dominant team in baseball by a large margin in the history of the sport. No denying that.

You mean people voted for the Skanks who have their highest paid player just opting to not play for the Americans in the World Classic?

It sure isn't the Mets, since about five Mets speak English.

    1. How could Kerry Rhodes be the best safety if he never made a pro bowl or played in a Super Bowl? This is a good example of Jets player arrogance on your part.

    2. The Yankees also have LOST more World Series than any other team. I believe theyve lost more than 20 - yes? Thus highest winning % in MLB history I believe is the St. Louis Cardinals.

    Wrong.

Yankees have been in 39 World Series- winning 26 of them, losing 13 of them. Dodgers and Giants a right behind the Yankees with 12 World Series loses each. Yankees actually handed the Dodgers 8 of those loses, and 5 of the Dodgers loses.

They Yankees also have the highest winning % of any team.

    1. New York Yankees (.569)
    2. San Francisco Giants (.538)
    3. Los Angeles Dodgers (.524)
    4. St. Louis Cardinals (.517)
    5. Boston Red Sox (.516)

To answer the question seriously, the most "American" team is without question the St. Louis Cardinals. Middle American families all dressed in red-little kids to grandmothers.

Forget the Cubs, while many Cubs fans fit the bill, Wrigley is a bit of a tourist mecca. Not to mention, Cubs fans represent the upper echilon of Chicago. The White Sox probably fit the bill over the Cubs.

    It's the Cardinals hands down.

    I'd say the Indians next.
