    What a totally fruitless pursuit...

it is to be a Jets fan.

Useless, stupid, and a waste of time.

    I don't know. Green's a pretty cool color...

This was realized by me years ago. This should be expected when rooting for this team.

I've hit a point where I almost wear it as a badge of pride. Fans of other teams try to complain, and then I chime in, resulting usually in this exchange:

    "Well, who's your team?"

    "Jets."

    "Oh, man....well, yeah. Sorry dude."

Well, we could be Detroit fans

The Jets balance out the good fortune I've had as a Yankees fan.

Its the sports equivalent of walking around with clothepins on your nipples..... no? Wait, that could be remotely enjoyable, so no.

I loved how you called me stupid when I said Chad was better than Brett earlier this season, Paulie.

Well I don't root for the Yankees but I've had some good fortune as a lifelong Laker fan, and I'd trade all of the Championships they've had for one Jet Championship. My "other teams" just don't mean as much to me as the Jets.

I agree. My family were season ticket holders for 10+ years so the Jets are my favorite especially since football is my favorite sport.

Depends on the weather. In the summertime it's pretty comfortable, but if you have a shirt on, the friction combined with the sweat, heat, and pinching can sometimes.....

    I mean, uh.....yeah.

Chad better than Favre? What a joke.... The Jets' defense is useless. They make any QB look good. Meanwhile, the Jets' O-line and Thomas Jones are good for 2 yards a play... but not on 3rd down, when they NEED him to get a yard.

Jets' fans who think Favre is the reason this team can't win games deserve what they get: watching another AFC team in the playoffs year after year..

Yeah, and I'll still call you stupid.

Yeah, because Favre didn't throw a ridiculous pick-6 to a defensive lineman, right?

Who's going to win this game?

At least my Phillies won the World Series. I have given up hope on the Jets ever getting to a Super Bowl.
