hes gone man, long gone, gone gone gone, hes running far far far away from this team and the ny area and anything that ever had to do with the ny jets...THE MAN IS RUNNING OUT THE DOOR

Im fine with him leaving but what do the Jets do to replace him? They dont exactly have anything waiting in the wings. I dont call Ratliff who threw against 3rd string defenses and Clemens who has played terrible as solid replacements.

Hate to break this to you but Favre was the one who sucked today and down the stretch.

Buttle just ripped into Favre on the post game radio show, essentially blaming him for the last 5 games

Why would you want to get rid of a Pro Bowl QB?

Stop it, this was not all Favre's fault. It was a joint effort! Favre did have some bad games but he did give some spark to this team and made them fun to watch......well not the last 4 weeks.

We are now finding out that he was hurt. Look what happened to Pennington when he was hurt.

Considering the QB's we have Favre is still are best bet

The J-e-t-s are n-u-t-s if they don't pursue Cassel. Granted he may take a step backward if the clueless penguin is still running the show but he has definitively proven he can produce. He may not be able to carry a team singlehandedly but can you imagine the upisde if the Jets had a coach who actually possessed a clue?
