Plus, unless you’re putt-putting down the strip, to be honest, it’s really not practical. Bugs hit your face, tears flowing to your ears, wind blowing in your ears…Helmet keeps you warm during winter, dry when it rains, less noise...and oh yeah, keeps you alive
+1. Wind in my face constantly would drive me crazy. If I want it, I can open the visor...if not, close 'er up. And from the sound the occasional bee or grasshopper has made bouncing off my helmet, I certainly don't want them slamming into my face!
