Since it is slow, I figured I would post this for all of you techies out there.
I currently have Verizon wireless and have the LG Voyager Titanium. I loved the phone at first but it is starting to get annoying. The keyboard and HTML web browser are great for websites that I need for work, but the touch screen is so annoying for calls (the screen is very unresponsive). I have only had it for 6 months, so I will have to pay full price for an upgrade.
So, I would like my new phone to have a keyboard (can be touch screen), definitely an HTML browser. I am not opposed to a touch screen, but as long as it is responsive (I was thinking the Blackberry Storm, but unfortunately my work does not have the capability to do push email on it and I would hate to pay an extra $30 per month, just to have the phone especially since I can't get all of the functionality from it). My job only pays $100 per month for my phone and I am already over that since I have the unlimited plan, so I would hate to add more, but if the phone is better, then I will.
Oh yeah, I use about 5,000-6,000 minutes per month, so if it is a touch screen, it has to be quality (that is why I am thinking maybe something with buttons could be better, like one if the other blackberry's)
By the way, I was thinking of going with the iPhone and switching back to AT&T, but the coverage where I live in Dutchess County is very spotty and I am on the road most of the day.
The coverage is definitely in an issue in my area (when I am in the boonies). I would love to because I see the commercials every night on TV and I would go crazy with the apps.
How responsive is the touch screen on it though?
It is the most responsive touch screen because it is thermal, not pressure sensitive. So, not is it responsive, you won't end up pressing buttons with your cheek when you are on the phone because it senses that it is close to your face and shuts the screen off, then when you pull it down to end the call or do what ever, it turns the screen on automatically..
Like I said, you WILL NOT REGRET the iphone purchase.
