In the eyes of Denver's new management, a 2007 first-round draft pick is now worth far, far less.

A source told FOXSports.com on Sunday that Broncos defensive end Jarvis Moss is being shopped for a seventh-round selection in this year's draft.

The 17th overall pick in his draft class, Moss has proven one of the biggest draft busts of the Mike Shanahan era. Injuries and on-field struggles have limited Moss to playing in just 18 games the past two seasons with one start.

The new Broncos regime of coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Brian Xanders is ready to cut ties with Moss after the franchise chose Tennessee pass-rusher Robert Ayers in the first round of Saturday's draft.

Moss, 24, turned pro after a strong junior season at the University of Florida. At 6-foot-6 and 267 pounds, the Broncos thought Moss would bolster the team's pass rush. Instead, he has 3.5 sacks in two seasons.

definitely liked him as a prospect, and wouldn't mind giving him a look if the Broncos end up cutting him.
