Who do you compare Sanchez to?

Watching him nobody comes to mind when comparing him to an NFL QB? Maybe a Pennington with a stronger arm???

More athletic Drew Brees, or a McNabb.

    Why must we always compare?

Haven't we learned anything from Michael Jordan and Kobe.

cbs.sportsline compares him to trent edwards. I hope not.

Compares To: TRENT EDWARDS, Buffalo -- Sanchez, just beginning to come into his own after he was groomed in a pro-style offense since his prep days, might lack the game experience or incredible arm strength of Matthew Stafford, he does show a lot of moxie on the field, along with good patience and excellent timing and touch. He needs to be in a strong vertical attack, as he's best throwing downfield and does a great job of anticipating his receivers before they come out of their breaks.

I see a bit Matt Ryan in the way he throws the ball and moves around the pocket.

+1...they have the same height, both have extremely strong character, marketable/media magnet, high intelligence, the "IT" quality, natural leader and both throw really well on the run.

I saw the more athletic Brees more, but he plays a lot like McNabb. A Lot of people wouldnt agree because of the looks/race, but they do.

Athletic, leader, intangibles, accurate, mobile in the pocket.

Sanchez is definitely not as mobile as a young Steve Young but it's a very good comparison IMO. Who knows if they'll have the same career but there are some strong similarities.
