I hope fireman moved to 15K section. He was supposed to be in 142 front row. That is why I wanted aisle 144 furtherest row from him.

I would have loved chance to sit in seats and see view from downfield.
you can call 1-800-469-JETS and schedule a tour anytime Mon-Sat 9am-3pm... even if you already have seats picked out. Just tell them you are considering an upgrade. You can ask them to take you around to any section to check the view, they will tell you what seats are available. I am probably going to go this week just to make sure I am happy with what I have.
Where did you get your information about Pariah Ed's location? He has been on radio shows crying about being the poor average joe Jet fan being screwed by the team and now he is in 15K PSL seats? The most reliable info on this forum had him in the lower rows of 143 or 144 or in the end zone in 142.

Boy, Ed sure gets around. This is better than Where's Waldo. In the last few days Ed has been reported in the lower end zone, 144, 143 now 142.

Great job of scaring the bejeezus out of everyone in 142 about now. Imagine plunking down $30,000 - $60,000 for 2 to 4 seats. Only to find out on opening day that you're in aisle seats a few rows up from Ed.:eek::eek::eek:

In order to preserve the sanity of anyone in 142 - 146, I think it's time to get some official details on Ed's location. How hard could that be? Time for certain individulas to step up and flex their Jets insider muscles and help you all out.

Good calls on the tours and on finally solving the Fireman Ed mystery. I also think I'm going to try to sneak in a tour this week or next. The $6-7.5k PSL seat pictures are making me drool.

I was told on my tour friday tha Fireman Ed is in 143 row 2..not sure what seats but my rep told me row 2 and pointed to section 143..believe seats are closer to 142 than 144. Anyone sitting in 144 who hasn't sat in your seats, trust me youb are going to love it!
does anyone know what asile between 144 and 143 lines up with. Is it excactyl goal line or a few yards in? Thanks John
Shot taken right down Section 143. So the answer to your question is about 2 yards deep in the endzone but your seats are pointed across the field towards the 10.

good pic to judge. If you look at the far sideline, looks like the aisle between 108 and 109 is about 7-8 yards deep at bottom and the back row lines up at about the back line of the endone.

    Lower Goal Line

New member and my first post. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone posting great stuff on this forum.

I had a question about lower goal line seats.

Last month I purchased PSL for section 101 row 38. Last week i got a email from Dan regarding lower goal line sections (109,117,134,and 143).

I agreed to section 143 row 22 seat 3 and 4, (i thing fredmertz had these seats) but after reading thru the post i got some concern about aisle traffic. ( not so concerned about fireman ed or sunny vs shady)

After going thru the stadium map i noticed tunnels in the mid rows of section 143 and 134 , i didn't see the same tunnels in the middle for 109 or 117. With the middle tunnels being there, would that reduce the amount of traffic from the aisle.

    i was also offered section 109 row 22, 117 row 23 and 134 row 20.

How many seats are across on those rows?

Again, I want to thank everyone on the valuable post.

I had the same Fireman Ed information confirmed by the ticket office.

the only part of your questions I can answer is the number of seats across there aer in section 109, the section I chose BTW.

In the rows they offered you, I am pretty certain there are 23 seats and the higher the number, the closer they are to section 110 and the 15K PSL seats.

In the row I selected (row 31) and roughly from 28 or 29 up there are 24 seats.

Oh AND THANKS SACK DANCER for the picture in which I can see my row and seats across the field in 109 and see that they point about 2 yards towards midfield from whatever that brown thing was on the ground in the photo which would be about the 6-7 yard line

just for comparison - checked the Giants pricing of the LL TDC and GL sections

    108. 118, 133 and 144 -- 5K PSL, 140 per game vs Jets 6K PSL and 125 per game

    109, 117, 134 and 143 --10K PSL 140 per game vs Jets 7.5K PSL and 125 per game

    SG3,
SAR actually posted that image originally, I was just responding. After looking at it further, I actually think that pic was shot from the 117 corner looking accross at section 134. I don't think section 109 has those lower tunnel entrances. I could be wrong though...

I think you are right about the mid level tunnels helping reduce ailse traffic in sections on the Visitor sideline.

I know sections 134 and 143 are 28 seats wide.

What's in back of Sec 146?

What's in back of Sec 146, in back of the last row? Can I walk to there? Is that a concouse. It looks like its blocled off.

    Anyone like covered seats?

After that horrible Denver game in 2008, (pouring frezzing rain), I figured that I wanted covered seats. I have the seats in 146 closest to 144 and still be covered.

If I had uncovered seats in 146, I would move to 144 for the extra $1K, but I'm reluctant to give up the cover. What does everyone think?

I originally thought that undercover seats were best. but there is only maybe 2 games a year where this is relevant. undercover seats are great, but being closer is a whole different vibe. to be under cover you have to be pulled back from the field. Great site lines and POV, but move up and sit on the sidelines....uuuwwwweeeee!!!! you feel SOOO much closer. my seats last season were undercover and it was awesome...sitting in the back...but people always *****ed about standing up and other things thast can make a football game feel like a ping pong match. Undercover seats are great if you want to be removed from the main action...but being closer is a much more intense experience

    If memory serves
Can we post a poll within a thread? Wondering who is the bigger hypocrite for getting PSLs -- me or SG3?

BTW, Sackdancer and OZU -- pretty certain I will be moving into your section. Looking forward to seeing you guys in the shade, and buying you each a frosty one in an effort to show you that message board FredMertz and real life FredMertz are two different guys....
I believe that you would of considered a psl from the beginning but felt that you were not called and others with low priority gotsome good corner seats like In SAR's section. In the end...everyone is finding a happy seat area in Jets stadium. As for SG3 he was gun-ho about his upper seats being great and that corner seats provided a not so great view of the game. In the end SG3 came around and realized that seats from the goaline to 5 yard line are worth the $ and perhaps this thread influenced the psl purchase.

Yikes! You are correct. We walked counter-clockwise on my tour. Very sorry.

There are 8 home games a year. Usually only 1 of them involves rain.

Sitting under cover makes the gameday experience less special on the 7 games a year when the weather is just fine, so I wouldn't compromise the feeling of the game by sitting under cover no matter what.
