    Arthur Kade

Does anyone read this guy's blog? He's a nobody from suburban Philly, a financial advisor who sold his book for like $500,000 and started "The Journey," which chronicles his path to achieving A-List movie star status.

He's kind of the poster boy for all things douche, but I'll honestly admit the doosh is funny and on my top 5 daily reads while passing time during the day.

    [quote]
Being a rising actor and celebrity means that every person is going to form a different opinion of you, and whether they think you’re amazing, or not, you just have to realize how special you are, and that you do things that only a few people in the world can ever dream of doing. When I meet girls now, they are so intimidated by who I am, and the power that I hold with my stature and new celebrity, that I think that it pushes “normal” people away, and gives them the wrong idea of who Arthur Kade is. I am becoming a worldwide brand that stands for quality and excellence, and people will follow me as “The Journey” goes to the next level, but with this power comes the fact that “Haters”, and non-believers will be jealous, and become intimidated, and try to sabotage greatness.

I have always had this responsibility because of my looks, status, and confidence, but now when I meet a girl, the first thing out of their mouth is “You’re the guy with the website”, You’re too big for little old me”, and “I’m not cool or good looking enough to hang with you”. I have just begun to realize the true power that I have, and although it can be overwhelming to know that I can influence the success of resturants, clubs, and the overall social scene, I understand the responsibility that it comes with. Like Spiderman was told, “With Great power comes great responsibility”, and when I am in public, I attempt to show the world how a Socialite and aspiring star should act and behave. Last night at The Chelsea, people stopped me so many times to say hello or meet me, and all I think is “Do they really think I will remember them?”, but I want them to feel loved and appreciated either way.

While out last night in AC, a friend asked me, “What’s it like to be able to walk into a place, and be the most influential opinion?”, and I responded “It’s amazing, but everyone kisses your ass because you can make or break a place by that opinion”, and I realized at that moment that I have become like Perez Hilton or Oprah, because people realize the incredible lifestyle I live, and will follow any example I do around the world. People who meet me, have trouble being themselves because they are scared to be written about poorly or bashed, so it’s difficult to know who wants to be with me, or who wants what I am.

Last night was a great time, and I kept it going Kade Style even though I wasn’t drinking, so my friends and I chilled outside at C5 at The Chelsea (Best Party in AC right now), and then headed over to MurMur where we were walked through the VIP Elevator and escorted down. At The B Bar, a girl said “I love you site, you have it all” and a guy at the bar that said “Arthur Kade??”, and I said “The one and only”, and he started tapping all his friends in awe to tell them who I was and brag he met me and a guy at The Chelsea who shook my hand and said “HUGE Fan”. Being sober in that environment is tough because I want to be able to loosen up with my friends, but it’s also important that The Brand looks good at all times.

That felt like a DWC2 post, but without the gangsta-strut, sage social commentary and subtle humor.

    I'd kill that guy.

I gotta say, calling the guy a douche is insulting to douche's.

And thank you for posting that little snipet from his blog. I will now NEVER read it.

Honestly, you didn't REALLY think that was even moderatley funny or entertaining, did you?

Feel free to skip the "What are you reading Now" or "What movies are you looking forward to" threads that pop up from time to time.

BTW- being featured on Danny Bonaduce is not really something to tout.

JSTOKES is the man on this one. He's is right IMO.

When (original poster) you state he....
    "Sold his book????? for 500K???

Is that supposed to be impressive????

Not sure where you are at in life, but 500K aint much anymore. Kids, college, etc....

The guys that are most impressive never brag about it and you'd never know they were loaded.
