Clearly you meant the Mets will get swept by the Yanks, because that is what will happen.

Hopefully the Yankees are heating up, and A-Rod going 3-5 1 HR 4 RBIs is a sign of him starting to heat up.

Please Sabathia pitch a gem tonight! Also show us your stuff with the bat!

Also with Damon back to back 3 hit nights, maybe hes heating up? All I know is this team is only great when the lineup is killing pitchers.
Winning 2 out of 3 is a must for the Yanks, a sweep would be awesome seeing those match ups. Redding and Hermandez should get rocked.

Matchups clearly favor the Yanks and with this current Mets lineup the only likely scenario is being swept.

Don't worry, depending on which Wang shows up, you may be able to get away with sneaking the St. Lucie Mets in and rocking him...

    Nice try TD!

I think neither team sweeps and should be another close series.

Matchups smatchups. The Yankees are playing horrid defense and have already filled their quota for run scoring for the week. Sabathia is coming of a very short outing, Wang still isn't fully right and Burnett has been mostly awful all season.

Meanwhile, the Mets fill-ins have been playing inspired ball. They will ride the momentum of beating a strong Cardinals team and steamroll the Yanks this weekend.

Will Mo get his 500th save against the Mets?

Kind of hard to get a save when there's a double digit margin in the scorecard

We're going to get crushed the next 3 days. We'll be lucky if we give up less than 25 runs in this series.

You guys are off your rocker. The Yanks get shut out all three nights.

By the way, is this the worst trash-talking thread of all time or what?

    It really is.

We might as well be all sitting down enjoying tea and cucumber sandwiches with this type of conversation.
