Fantasy Draft: Help! I'm picking at #2

I'm in a traditional fantasy football, non-keeper league. Where QBs score 1 pt per 25yd passed and 4pts per TD pass. Rushing/Receiving gets 1pt per 10 yards gained.

I'm picking at #2 - and assuming consensus #1 Adrian Peterson is taken: Who would you take at #2?

I'm leaning towards Michael Turner but appreciate thoughts on this.

    Thx.

    Definitely Turner.

I have the 2 as well and probably going with MJD. Turner was never good against good teams and had 370 carries last year.

i rele like forte at 3 and would consider him at 2. turners a beast but wont get near his touches from 08. mjd is valid as well, hes the fulltime starter, rock solid pick

I was thinking Forte at 2 as well until i saw his schedule. Especially at the end of the year during playoff time.

When I started this thread I was leaning Turner and now I'm leaning towards MJD followed by Forte.

I really hate having this pick.

It would be a mistake not taking Turner...

The only thing that will diminish are his carries... They rode him hard because of a rookie QB...

A now sophomore QB that the defenses will have to respect this year...

His production will not drop off barring injury...

The only QB worthy of that high of a pick was Brady in 07...

People tried to replicate, picked him in 08 and bam, knee injury...

    I lol'd...

Who is that in your avatar and signature...is she from Brazzers.com ?

Whats her name? I like her.

    But back on topic.......
Forte is a great choice. Most of the Defenses are so tired towards the end of the season.

I took MDJ with the 3rd pick, the first two obviously being AP and Turner. If Peterson is gone you have to go with Turner.

It's a crap shoot and all the right names have been thrown out there.

My board looked like this for a draft I had this morning...

    1. AP
    2. MJD
    3. Turner
    4. Forte

I'd wait on a QB. If everyone else seems to wait on QBs a little too then grab a QB at #19. You might get one of the top 4 or 5 guys if there's a run on RBs in the first two rounds.

I'm a coin flip btween Turner and MJD right now.

Whatever i decide will be the wrong decision...

MJD or Turner. MJD might get in the end zone more because he's a better reciever.

Last year, Turner had 9 receptions (is that right?) and MJD had 51. Matt Forte had 59 receptions ..

I play a point per rec league....so that stuff matters to me.
