Thread: Fin fans turning on Chad

  1. #21
Local radio down here in Miami is just as polarized. Those supporting Pennington claim that the offense's deficiencies- faulty O-line, untalented receivers, bad playcalling, etc., were the cause of the loss.

Those disparaging him claim that he is the source of the offense's shortcomings; i.e. he can't throw farther than 10 yards, his inbility to throw deep creates a loss of momentum when Pat White has to brought in with the Wildcat to throw deep, the defense stacks the line and sits on routes, etc.,

Its the ACM v. Penningtology debate 2.0

Considering they went 11-5 last year, its amazing how thin the Dolphin's margin for error is this year. They have a weak armed QB with marginal WRs, and an overrated Offensive Line. They will be facing 8 men in the box quite often this year.

Their defense is decent, but I don't see them holding them in the game every week.

I don't post here in almost a year and what's the first thread topic I see?

A freakin thread about Chad? Are you serious?

  9. #29
lol they are learning what most of us knew, Pennington just can take you so far. But he has limitations that really holds back the team from reaching the next level, your team has to be completely dominant around him to win a SB.

I liked this comment made by one of the Dolphin fans wanting to start Henne to see what they have.

"I supppose that Atlanta and Jet fans are both glad you are not calling the shots for their clubs.

If you were, their "wide-eyed" young qbs would be sitting on the bench.

    Great job.

Did I mention that Cutler and Flacco would be riding the bench as well courtesy of you?"

Only we can make fun of our injury-prone ex-QB. You should stick to yours!

If they cut him at the end of the year, SLICK will lobby for Chad to become our starter next year! I am sure that he thinks Mark is not as good as Chadwick the Great! :)

I really wouldnt mind having him back as a backup next year..

He would be great for a team that plays indoors. Who would want him another year older with that weak arm, throwing INTS for a pick 6 in the new stadium. Not me. I suppose you and SLICK! wow! I'd rather have a JEFF GARCIA type. Stronger arm and mobility.
