OK, now I feel like telling a wine joke.

Pierre, a French fighter pilot, took his girlfriend, Marie out
for a pleasant little picnic by the river Seine. It's a beautiful
day and love was in the air so Marie leaned over to Pierre and said,
"Pierre, kiss me!" So our hero grabbed a bottle of red wine and
splashed it on Marie's lips. "What are you doing, Pierre?" shrieked Marie.
"Well, my name is Pierre, the French fighter pilot, and when I have
red meat I like to have red wine!" His answer was good enough for Marie and
things began to heat up. So she said, "Pierre, kiss me lower."
Our hero ripped off her blouse, grabbed a bottle of white
wine and starts pouring it all over her breasts. "Pierre, what are you
doing?!" "My name is Pierre, the French fighter pilot, and when I
have white meat I like to have white wine!" They resumed their
passionate interlude and things really steam up. Marie leaned
over once more and softly whispered into Pierre's ear, "Pierre,
kiss me lower." Pierre tore off her underwear, grabbed a bottle of
Cognac and sprinkled it all over her groin. He took a match and lit it
on fire. Patting the flames out furiously, Marie screamed, "PIERRE!
WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!?" "My name is Pierre, the French Fighter Pilot,
and when I go down, I go down in flames!"

Oh, the red was a 2006 vintage Clos Siguier Cahors and the white was
a Pessac-Léognan Château Brown from 2005. The brandy IIRC was
    L'Esprit de Courvoisier.

    I'm incapable of handling it.

I become enraged with every new display in Modells. Why I ask.

Why? Leave us alone. We suck, you never cared before.

Tiiiiimy, why wine. Why I ask.

This is usually what gives folks terrible headaches when they drink French reds. Generally, the French overdue it when adding sulphur to their vineyards. If you have this problem, seek out organic wines, biologique in French.

Yes. I would get it at my local market when I lived in California. Nice, inexpensive, every day table wine. If I remember, the Cabernet was jammy and good.

I doubt any of you guys have seen this, since there is very little on the internet about it. I've been drinking a bottle of this every weekend, and I'm not a fan of cheap California cabs at all. I'm going to get a case. I've tried only the 05.

I just saw that my wine store just got their annual stock of Beaujolais Nouveau.

    Anyone else imbibe this?

Good stuff, thanks for the feedback Borgo and I agree. I tried the Cab, Merlot and Chard at another tasting this week.

Pick a bottle up for dinner sometime. At the price it's listed, it surpassed my expectations. Just disappointed they don't have a Pinot Grigio or Noir.
