4PM on a Friday afternoon, no better time...

...to announce that the FY 2009 deficit was almost one and a half trillion dollars.

"Have a great weekend everyone, please turn the lights off on your way out."

CNN - BREAKING NEWS - Obama administration says U.S. ran a $1.42 trillion deficit in fiscal year 2009 -- the largest since 1945.

That's the plan. But we have to borrow money to buy all the printers we need. And we can't buy the printers without money. And we can't get the money without printing it.

    It's really a mess.

Eh, why not! It's my thread. Blame anybody you want. It's Friday. Just don't blame Bush too loudly, you might end up with a Nobel Prize dropped in your lap.

Actually, he's been having a little heart trouble. But he's on line for the Public Option and should feel better in no time.

The gov't can/will just speed up those money printing machines a little bit.

    Big deficit? PRINT MORE $$$

I have a real bad feeling things are not as bad as they are going to get. Not by a long shot.

In other news, I read that 80% of "economists" say the recession is over, but dont expect anything to get better until 2011-2012.

There are a record # of foreclosures STILL to come, and as for that stockmarket hitting 5 digits again........well, i know a little birdie that says that bubble is going to burst soon.

    Get your rations ready.
