Here in '09... no one brings the suck like Jeff Fisher

Reportedly today while introducing Tony Dungy at a speaking event at Vanderbilt, Jeff Fisher shed is jacket to reveal a Peyton Manning jersey... the douchebag then goes on to spew "I just want to feel like a winner."

Seriously... WTF? Is this guy begging to be fired or what? How would a Jets coach be treated if during a dreadful season of his own design he pulled this **** in a Pat's #12 jersey. What a ****ing tool.

I was thinking Fish should be toast after the season prior to today but at this I'm in total disbelief. The dude should be looking for work tomorrow.

I would be pretty pissed as a fan.

Iffin he wants to feel like a winner, he should be coaching like one.

It's funny, some Titans fans are brushing this off as just a joke, as no big deal. Honestly even if the Titans were 6 - 0 it'd still piss me off. To me a display like that is pissing in the face of fans who are foolish enough to actually give a chit (which you must admit gets tougher and tougher every year). Is that the message you want to send to your most passionate fans (especially when you're 0 - 6); that all of these logos on the sides of the helmets are ultimately meaningless and you really shouldn't care so much?

Trust me the temptation is there to tune this team out for the remainder of the year... but I've sat through a bunch of crap in 35 years of being Oilers/Titans fan and it looks like I'll be sitting through a bunch more.

    lol @ possibly

The bongoesque rumored truth is that Fisher has told people he'll never start VY (the two apparently hate each other). Now that there is real pressure to start Vince coming from both inside and outside the team, Fisher is looking to get **** canned rather than mend fences with Young.

If I were Bud I'd tell Fisher that the only way he could keep his job was to shave the idiotic 'stache... once he done so, I'd fire him anyways... cuz, you know... *** him.

Ouch.....yeah, he just might be trying to get fired.

Like I was thinking maybe it was a motivational statement, but it wasn't in front of his team or anything, it was at some speaking engagement.

Anyone picture Rex in a 12 Pats jersey?... I'd be bent too. Nobody saw Tenny doing this bad.

Yah....Jeffy is absolutely greasing the rails to get fired. He'll find quick employment, but he's clearly had enough at Tenny.

I would be pissed as hell if I was a Titans fan.

That's a weird, unfortunate move by Fisher. I always liked him a lot. Maybe the long-term veteran just finally cracked and can't take it in Tennessee anymore.

    SURVEY SAYS: Completely cracked!

And speaking of silver linings...why not hire Fish to coach Rex? :P
