the teabaggers is a timely topic

here's a question do teabaggers really not know what that term means or do they know and like it? Someone must have filled them in by now...

You know, they never even identified themselves teabaggers. It was a joke that Rachel Maddow laughed about on MSNBC the night of the first tea party protest and it just gained steam from there.

And now smug liberals snicker at the silly protesters while at the same time disparaging their constitutional right to protest.

    But please, continue.

To be fair, I think most liberals are disparaging their protest, not their right to protest.

    That's a pretty significant difference

You and I both know they do not call themselves "teabaggers".

    Only Liberals call them that.

Tea Party Protesters. In reference to the Boston Tea Party.

Really Bit, you're better (at debating politics) than to resort to such obvious Juvenalia (or should I say genitalia?)

not the lib media- the protests were racist and never should've occured...

btw- as a particpant in several Tea Party's past and more moving forward I can only hope the left and their mouthpieces in the media continue to marginalize and dismiss the movement- it may cause some short term aggravation for folks but the long term benefits will be incredible....

Given your passion for Politics, I find that very hard to believe, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. /shrug, now you know.

it's not believable that I never think about the tea party? they are barely political... they are funded by a huge network and marginalized themselves upon arrival

Ignorance and Hatred is Bliss, eh Bit?

They mean nothing, but are backed by a "huge" network/compiracy, eh? Protest is teh awesomesauce, as long as it's Libs doing it (as they ahve, far more aggressively, for the past 40 years), eh? Tea Party protesters are dumb and don't know what they're protesting, but Global Climate Warmers who eagarly sign petitions to ban H2O (lolz) are brilliant ecologists fighting the good fight, right?

Dear Lord Bit, you've become such a bitter old party hack over the years. Tis a shame, you used to be great to talk with. To think, in your mind it's simply not possible that anything on the "other side" could have legitimacy, or not be a big conspiracy/corporate evil. In your mind, it's not humanly possible that some portion of Americans might actually (*gasp*!) want a country with less Government, less taxation, and less Liberalism. I know, crazy, right?

I still have hope for you Bit. One day you might return back to what you were, a true independant, with independant thoughts and fair views of both sides. Once can only hope....

funded by a huge network?? sh!t- never got my check- better make some calls...

it's understandable why the left and their mouthpieces in the media marginalize the protestors...I mean it's only a real protest to them if "peace protestors" are spitting on soliders, telling them to fuq off:

encouraging them to kill their officers:

or defecating on the American flag:

that's real protest for the leftist!!!

unfortunately you won't see any of this at a Tea Party protest.....just hard working Americans proud of their nation- understandable MSNBC would have no interest...

so the fox news network doesn't fund tea parties?

it was my impression the whole thing was basically a FNC creation.
