    Of course it isn't.

If it was, that means Posada would have contributed to a Yankee postseason victory, something he NEVER does.

Can Mariano pitch three innings of relief every game? Because Hughes, Joba, Marte, etc all SUCK suddenly.

Basically it was CC vs Lee and Lee won after being only .500 lifetime against the Yanks with them hitting .297 against him. Ugh not good.

Last 6 Series have been won by the team winning the first game...let's hope that streak ends this year.

    ITS ALL ABOUT POSADA, BABY!!
At least Posada got a hit tonight...

What did Tex and Arod do? 5 K's between the both of them...no hits or walks...If you want to put blame on someone, blame those two and the bullpen for once again stinking up the joint...

Not to sound too reminiscent, but this team is good, but not as good as those late 90's teams. And the biggest difference was on display tonight.

Those teams, when facing a dominant performance like tonight at least made a guy like Lee throw pitches. How many times would they get shut down through 7 or 8 only to finally get to a guy when he was up around 110-120 pitches? Or in the other team's bullpen?

Tonight there were far too many 1, 2 and 3 pitch at-bats. Lee was cruising and was able to do so for a full 9 innnings. Just a no-show on this lineup tonight, not to sell Lee's performance short.

    It's not just the offense...

Let's not forget the bullpen giving up 4 runs in 2 innings...

Lets just hope everyone shows up tomorrow especially Burnett...

We can't go into Philly down 0-2...

    Lol, you know I'm busting.

I aint happy, but I know better than to give up on these guys.

Perhaps they needed a b*tch slap to get them p*ssed.

They got a lot of help from the Twins and Angels that they wont get here.

Oh I haven't given up. Just blowing off steam. I wish I could say some of this to their faces. Maybe someone needs to as the kick in the nads they need.

Your guys got cooked by a CY Young pitcher, nothing they could do about it; give the man some credit. The $125 million offense will show up later.

I expect this could be like the diamondback series. The Phillies pitchers will dominate to win a couple games, and the Yankees will get a couple blowouts with their offense. It just comes down to which team pulls out 2 of the other 3.

I'd feel much better if Andy was pitching tomorrow and not AJ. Besides, can you imagine the utter chaos that would take place in game 3 between AJ and Hamels if the series were tied 1-1? Both of them would implode in the first 3 innings.

the offense will have to score 5-6 runs minimum...i have no faith in aj...i could also see pedro throwing a gem...but i can see us hitting him too..this team has been resilient all year...

and sometimes you gotta tip your cap. Lee was a monster last night. not many teams would have been able to hit him the way he was pitching

but I really feel good about tonight

if the Yankees can pull even and get to Philly with Andy on the mound I will feel pretty good

this think is not over folks, not by a long shot!

Yankees have bounced back all season I expect the same tonight

We play today, we win today. Das it.

Lee was just other worldly last night. Even his glove seemed to have some magic in it.

The bullpen runs were window dressing.

Seriously, this Yankee offense couldn't score 2 runs last night in 18 innings.

CC gave up 2 runs (1 earned) against the Twins game 1, but won. Why? Because the Yanks actually scored some runs.

The Yankees need to score runs tonight.
