As we enter NFL Week 10, the playoff picture is starting to take shape. Indianapolis (8-0) and New England (6-2) are all but locks in the AFC, and Pittsburgh (6-2) and Cincinnati (6-2) look solid. In the NFC, New Orleans (8-0) and Minnesota (7-1) are set, and Dallas (6-2) is in good shape. The races for the other five spots will likely go down to the final weekend. Sporting News' team of former NFL scouts predicts which of the remaining playoff challengers will reach the postseason ... and which won't.
~ ~ AFC contenders that won't
~ New York Jets (4-4). The loss of Leon Washington hurts the running game, which the Jets rely on heavily. Though rookie Mark Sanchez has shown flashes, there will be more growing pains for a guy who started just 16 college games. The schedule is brutal, with remaining games against New England, Atlanta, Indianapolis and Cincinnati.
