    Phillies seriously considering Figgins

Phillies are seriously considering Figgins, which could make it 3 leadoff types for them.
This would be a great pick up for the Phillies. Jimmy Rollins has no business being a lead off hitter.

    Chone Figgins 3B
    Shane Victorino CF
    Chase Utley 2B
    Ryan Howard 1B
    Jayson Werth RF
    Raul Ibanez LF
    Carlos Ruiz C
    Jimmy Rollins SS
    Cliff Lee P

That would suck, but I guess if I had to choose, I'd rather the Phillies continued to try and outslug everybody rather then improve their Pitching.

Don't sweat it. Figgins will kill any chance of the Phillies going deep in the playoofs.

Figgins is a historically AWFUL postseason hitter.

That's bound to work about as well as A-Rod's postseason struggles prior to this year, lol

    LOL.

ARod's postseason problems at the plate were mental.

Figgins' postseason problems at the plate are physical. His swing and plate discpline are not conducive to postseason success.

This makes absolutely no sense. What is different about the post season that make his swing an plate discipline more of a factor than in the regular season?
