    The Adenhart tragedy probably put Scioscia over the top. Plus they dealt with a lot of big injuries the first half of the season. Both deserved it, but I think they made the right choice by picking Scioscia.

    are you kidding? the yanks were the preseason favorite by far. he did what he was expected to do

    I don't know about the Yanks being the pre-season favorite by far, but I do agree that he wasn't the most deserving of the award. They got it right with Scioscia.

    I think keeping your team focused and winning ballgames in spite of the Adenhart tragedy has to be considered the best coaching job of the season, no offense to Girardi.

    And the Rockies really took off with Tracy at the helm for some reason, so he seems the most deserving of his as well.

    I think they got it right (For once).
