    Definately no surprise and well "deserved."

    I only put deserved in quotes because Pujols puts up similar numbers every year. His numbers are staggering. I haven't seen a stat sheet like Pujols since Lou Gehrig. Pujols consistently hits around .330, around 40 homers and 120 or so RBI.

    He could have won the MVP all 9 of his MLB seasons based on the numbers. His numbers don't change.

    The NL MVP voting seems to come down to now: "Has anyone besides Pujols have an amazing year? If not, we'll give the award to Pujols."
