    Wolfmother

Anyone else into this band.Just picked up the new album and it's pretty good.

I'm always on the lookout for some good rock,it's so hard to find now with the crappiness of radio

I like the 70s retro spirit and vibe of the band. But they butchered "Good Times, Bad Times" at some event honoring led Zeppelin recently, which had me throwing stuff at the TV.

Seen them live several times. Pretty good. Started as a trio for the first LP and now Andrew Stockdale shed the others and is effectively Wolfmother.

The song above sounds like Scorpions' Winds of Change w/out the whistling.

Wolfmother is rather....corporate sounding to me. Black Sabbath Meets Deep Purple in a Board Room, all decked in thee-piece-suits.

    Try Black Mountain instead.

Ha! In the Future was one of my favorite CDs last year. Even wrote it down in one of our "threads."

Very different sounding band. Pink Moutanintops which is more folky but a lot of the same people including the man guy, is cool too.
