    Amatuer Guitar players

All this talk about guitars has got me excited.

Being a bit of a hack at guitar, I go to youtube to see different tunings, versions of tunes etc.

Post your favorite AMATUER, doing a cover tune. I was trying to play "The sage" by ELP and found this guy. He aint bad. This tune is a B1TCH to play, add a star if you like ELP.

Some ZEP for you old timers.

This person does an unbelievable version of the Cat Stevens classic. Just a wonderful, vibrant interpretation.

I've been doing a crappy version of that in a regular G tuning for years.

    That made me want to

    A. Cry

    B. Bash my guitar over a chair.

Awesome. I'd like to see Page try to do that version.

Tune your ax as the video says..... what he's doing is NOT that hard. It's not simple but.....

When that sound comes out of your guitar... you'll like it.

I played it in G for years until I learned the REAL tuning.

Cover of a track from one of my all-time favourite bands and all time favourite axeman - The Stone Roses and John Squire. This guy just nails this incredibly difficult piece with ease - he's from Japan, which figures. Had a relative go over there for music school and he said the practice some of the Japanese put in has to be seen to be believed - 14 - 15 hours a day at times:

I was hoping to find a good version of this on you tube with a tutorial, I'm surprised more people haven't done this classic.

I posted a young girl doing a version of "Captain Nemo" by Michael Schenker last week. Is that what you're thinking of, Hess? In case some of you missed it, check this kid out. Look at the girl's right and left hand technique.
