    Dangerous Jets

If the Jets win this week & next, they will be the scariest team to play.
    Why?
No one EXPECTS them to win!
It's a helluva lot easier to play loose when nothing is expected of you.

If Shotty could get his s*it together & call a good game, whos' to say that Sanchez might have the best game of his short career!

Somehow I think teams are going to be just a tad more scared of the Colts, Patriots, and Chargers.

The Jets have the potential to be dangerous but have yet proven they are anywhere close. Losses at home to Buffalo, Miami and Atlanta in a playoff race don't help your reputation. A win Sunday would be a good start.

Good start yes, but 09 Jets will get no respect from national media and fans till/if they reach AFC Championship game. They made their bed and that folks is the result.

The Jets have been dangerous all season long but they are extremely inconsistant. If our Offense was ever able to get their $hit together we would have a deadly team.

My 3 month old daughter could game plan for a Shotty run offense. Geez

They'll get no respect in that game also. If the Jets make the playoffs, they'll be the underdog in every single game they play.

That's good, the Jets historically play better when they are under the radar with no expectations.

If/When the Jets win on Sunday...the media and fans of other teams will pretty much bash the Jets all week long for getting to 'luck' their way into the playoffs.

Prepare for this. It's going to be brutal.

I'd still rather luck my way into the playoffs than be starting that awful long wait till the drfat / training camp / next season.

Seriously. People will be bitter -- I don't care at all. We'll be playing meaningful January football and they'll be watching on TV.

No team has had as many awful losses this year as we have (except for maybe the Texans)... We have nothing to apologize for. Sorry, Steelers, sorry you lost to the Raiders, Chiefs, and Browns. Sorry, Broncos, sorry you started 6-0 and went 2-7 down the stretch...

I'm not sorry for the Dolphins. They suck, and deserve what's coming to them.

    Ok here we go....

Jets Beat Bengals Soundly this week as Palmer and company site after the 1q..

Jets Beat Bengals next week, behind two opportunistic turnovers and a monster run game

Jets go into SD and stuff the run game, Revis has 2 picks on Rivers.. Rhodes runs one back for a TD.. TJones and Greene rush for 190 yards, Jets win on a Feely FG with .03 left..

    Meanwhile....

Balt stuns NE in a snowfilled stadium, Ray Rice explodes for 3 tds.. NE is one and Done

Now off to Ind, Manning and company are still rattled from the 14-0 benching debacle as PManning throws a quick pick 6... Rice does more damage with two more TDs and Flacco find Mason and Heap for TDs.. Manning throws 2 picks, he has 300 yards passing, but the Run game cannot get uncorked, they lose 28 -24.

Jets face Balt at home in a jam packed, frigid Meadowlands.. a true- send off for a stadium that has had little Jet moments.. until now...

Sanchez.. has protected the ball well throughout the playoffs, until now.. a quick pick-6, the crowd moans...

But he comes right back and hits edwards on an 86 yard td for qucik tie..
RRice returns to his roots and does some damage, but they contain him from the end zone as the game is 10-10 at halftime...

Game conditions are frigid and windchill is below 0 the passing game is a challenge, so its a run game battle, tjones gets dinged and sgreene has to carry the rock 20 times in the 2nd half and repsonds with 110 yards and this leads to a major call by rex and the shaky schotty in the 4th with 4 minutes left, he goes for it on the 37 yard line.. 4 and inches, it's a playaction to keller for a 37 yard td..

balt returns it back to the 50 yard line.. with 18 second left, they drive to the Jets 5..

flacco fades back and sees heap wide open in the corner of the end zone,
but closing fast from the blind side is jim leonard on an all out blitz...

    sack, fumble, game over...

    jets in superbowl

meadowlands get a final game for the ages..

jets v eagles in miami, as miami fans are stunned to see the jets win a superbowl in there stadium...

    ahh good times await....
