Looks like a bad knee injury. Never wanna see that, even a Patriot.

Damn, he's one of the leagues best players IMO. Hope he's ok.

That is why you rest guys. Remember Vinnie and the achilles. Nobody touched him. You never know when that is going to happen.

...and that's why you don't play your starters with nothing on the line.

    You watching Goodell?

Just saw that, didn't look good. And that's why teams rest their key starting players in meaningless games.

Yay! I mean that sucks for the Pats, hope he's better after the season is over

welker's the one guy the Pats should have sat, the guy has taken a beating all year, they should have just put Edelman in his spot.

Tough loss if he is done for the year

It's a bad one, he's acting as if his knee is really bad.

    Welker possibly SERIOUSLY hurt!

    Doesn't look good for him.

Anyone watching Pats-Texans? The look on his face makes me think it could be serious!

Thats a shame. He's the only Patriots player I could even consider liking. Devastating loss for NE.

Looks really bad. He's crying on the sidelines. He knows he is done for the year in all likelihood. As much as I don't like the Patriots, you just hate to see any great player go down like that. Here's to a healthy recovery for 2010.
