Belichick folds the tent down by 7? After playing Brady, Welker?

Not sure I get it. Seriously, he played to win for a while, played all his starters with Welker ending up injured. But now, with 2 minutes left and Pats ball on their 34, down by a TD he benches Brady and Co.?

    Someone explain.

To give the Bengals a reason to play and keep us out. Guaranteed.

It always comes down to trying to screw the Jets.

I have to agree with you with that statement. The bastard will do anything to stick it to the Jets. Every chance he gets.

Only problem is that we will beat the Bengals either way and they lost Welker for their 1 playoff game this year.

He's a good winner, but he has no heart when he's losing. He's always been a sore loser. Thats BB for ya...

Just watch BB at the 50 yard line after a W...Then keep an eye on BB @ the 50 yard line after a loss...He's Jekyll and Hyde when it comes to winning and losing; it's sad.

Yeah game over. I wonder what this means for the Bengals.

    Did he really do that?

I'm guessing he wanted to screw over the Jets and maybe the Steelers.

No one cares about the #3/#4 seeds.

Palmer won't play more than a few series

makes no difference to the Jets

we needed to beat the Bungles to get in before this game

and we need to beat the Bungles to get in NOW

    play our game

    bring our Defense

    no prob

The truth of the matter is that what any other teams does or does not do today is of no consequence. The Jets have to be prepared a little later to beat the Bengals' starters for 4 quarters or they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

    That's what I originally thought.

Now, I'm hearing that the Bengals will play to win the game (Glazer says so).

his hatred for the Jets was stronger than his desire to win a game.

Goodell needs to launch an investigation of this assault on the integrity of the NFL

while I agree with that I also think Belicheat was thinking of the Jets with this odd finish
