    I don't know.

Rex on the irregular heartbeat: "When I heard I almost had one. Its not a funny thing but it kind of is."

HAHAHA ... he is a riot.

Shortness of breath, dizzy, weak, you can pass out from I'm because there is a lack of blood that travels to ur brain. Not very harmful to someone his age but someone over 65 I'd be worries.

Which explains why we didn't have a punter. Sometimes when things happen, we as fans, need to take a step back and understand that maybe there ARE actual reasons for these things.

Sounds serious and I'm sorry for Weatherford. But when we get back to NY
he needs to be cut and another punter brought in. There's no way we can
survive against SD or IND if we have short punts next week.

    Weatherford: Irregular Heartbeat

    That could kill you.

He couldn't go. Some rhythms are more dangerous than others but you can't risk that. What bad timing to find that out the day of a playoff game.

Most you can treat with prophylactic meds but I don't know if he'll play again this season.

    Not good.

In all seriousness, they said on the broadcast that he was sick. Between that and the dark sweatpants he had on and his sense of urgency heading off the field, I honestly thought he just had a case of the sh*ts. Tough to punt with that I would imagine.

    Weatherford had an irregular heartbeat

Those Steve Weatherford jokes made across the country don't seem so funny now.

Jets coach Rex Ryan said Weatherford's "illness" was actually an irregular heartbeat. The Jets punter was active for Saturday's game, but went to the locker room in the first quarter and never played.

We'd like to apologize for making any light of Weatherford before knowing the story.

It's unclear whether Weatherford's status for next week is in doubt.

I for one apologize, I was giving him hell through my HDTV.
