I bet none of you city slickers have a metal roof. Asphalt roofs just melt and drip, but the snow on our roofs slide forward in a big chunk of ice. You actually have to be careful, if you slam the door it can all go at once.
Where in Delaware are you? My inlaws have a place in Rehoboth and they were wondering how bad they got hit. They're still busy digging out in DC and haven't been down to the beach yet. Word is that there's another storm coming tomorrow.
I'm in Milford, the beaches are about a 30 minute drive south from here. They probably got well over a foot close to 2 feet. We got about 28-30 inches with another 8-12 inches expected tomorrow night, CRAZY!

This state is going bananas because it has no clue how to handle this. My developement didn't get plowed until Monday afternoon because the town didn't wan't to pay overtime to workers over the weekend, citizens were not very pleased.

Timmy, you always take some good shots. Do you use a point&shoot or a DSLR camera?

Thanks Paulie. I use a cheap Canon Power Shot point and shoot. I'm actually not that happy with it. I can take ok shots of objects, but I can't get any clarity when it comes to landscape shots.

The city, the buildings, the culture, the people (no only the older residents are snobs really) is truly amazing. It's such an odd feeling to stand there and think how old the place is and how much that one spot has seen.

Yeah definitely its amazing to me how such building could have been built all the way back into the 1300s. Aka Norte Dame. Its amazing because they had to do all of this by hand. No machines to make the job easier. It just blows my mind.

only if the unibomber likes geraniums and purple pansies. and the geraniums must be the ones specifiacally labeled "cardinal red", that's a really big f*ing deal to Mrs Unibomber. If he comes home with another shade of red he has to go right back to the store.
