Bottom Line - You got manhandled by speed

On offense - our 4 first round picks and 3 pro bowlers - could not stop the 245 lb. Mathis, and the 235 lb. linebackers.

Schotty kept getting cute with dumb-ass Richardson plays - he is too slow.

Our ground and pound - where was it. Schotty kept going away from it. And when Greene got hurt - you would thing Jones was the rookie we were trying to protect.

    Besides the offense.
    the D sucked.

Not only did the 3rd and 4th options rip us a new one - they ran for 5+ whenever they wanted to.

We should have road graded.....and we played from ahead and let them dictate.

Goodnight 2009. You can talk all night about 2010 - but you were leading at halftime again, and laid down. You can count on one hand the number of draw plays that went for less than 3 yards - WHY DID WE STOP CALLING "OUR PLAY?"

    I'm sickened.

As far as being manhandled by the under-sized Colts D, I think you are off base. They were sending extra people to shut down the run that left them very vulnerable to the pass. Offensively we were fine up to the point where Greene's injury.

Defensively we were fine until Strickland's injury. Obviously SHeppard was nursing something as well. That left a secondary consisting of Revis shutting down Wayne. A combination of a couple shutting down Clark. And then COllie and Garcon being guarded by Lowery and Coleman. Not a matchup that wouls be condusive to winning the game.

If we stay healthy, I honestly believe that we win this game. Period. down 20-17, we had the ball and had Greene not been injured we could have eaten off several minutes of the clock in the process of taking the lead.

But onward. We can't point to filed conditions (like in 82) or weather conditions (99). This one was all on us. Manning took adavantage.

The Colts swarmed the LOS and gang tackled against the run. They sold out to stop the run and trusted that Sanchez wouldn't be able to beat them, and the kid played a tremendous game, but they were right.

We were essentially facing 9 in the box most of the day.

Bullsh!t. Greene gets most of his yards in the 2nd half and would have had he not gotten hurt.

We were going to do the same thing on the ground that we do to everyone.

Only difference is Greene got hurt and we were numerous scores down.

Our defense faced the best QB to play the game in the last 20 years, and we were in the game for 3 quarters.

This loss sucks and hurts a lot, but we got beat by a better team.

Fortunately we have a very very bright future.

Correct. That was the most aggressive any team has been against the Jets run game this year. They were filling gaps from everywhere as fast as possible.
