    DBrick is an ELITE LT

I haven't seen much praise or recognition about DBrick's performance today. Dwight Freeny is an elite pass rusher and Brick made him as effective as VerNONE Gholston today as well as their 1st meeting. This guy at first looked like a bad draft pick that wasn't worth a top 5 selection but slowly and steadly has turned into a dominant LT. Sanchez had good pretection all game and we do have one of the best OLines in football but Brick has just been outstanding going against speed rushers like Freeny and can also handle the power pass rushers as well, gotta love the determination and hard work it took for him to get to this point in his career.

    Nobody ever mentions this either.

Brick abuses guys like Freeney. Pass blocking there isn't one better than Brick.

He has good feet and keeps speed guys off his QB.

There isn't a poster on this site that wouldn't give him up for Long of Thomas tomorrow.
Brick is so overrated - it's sickening.

We rushed like 100 times this post seasonand 78 of them were to the right side.
    Brick is adequate.

I like him, he is eloquent, a gentleman - but dominant - he is not.

Leinart sucks (I know your joking).
But the one year we don't make a move (for Bush) is when we should.
We bit the big one moving up for D'Fat.
    We move up for everyone.

Brick is a great guy - but only 1 step over a JAG.

He's very good and has improved steadily since he's been in the league. Is he dominant? I'd say no, but definitely a legitimate Pro-Bowler, and certainly not "1 step over a JAG". Long shouldn't have been voted in over him, either.

I've never seen such a good player criticized so much. He just shut down arguable the best pass rusher in the NFL in the biggest game of his young life, he also anchors the best OLINE in the NFL with the top rushing game.................

The starting LT that just came up HUGE one game from the SB?

Its not like the COlts shut down the JETS running game entirely

    Brick is overrated? Wow.....................

Not a big fan of Brick.
You would rather have Long or Thomas.
D'Fat is Robertson - if you haven't been around.

I could not be more right - 4th pick in the draft - everyone should expect more.
Guys have to play OVER their draft status to build a champion.
    We do not.

I acknowledge he can play speed rushers.
    Mathis is 245 - Brick is 310.
How many rushes do you recall that Brick led the way?
    ZERO.

He is over rated - because he is on that line with Mangold Moore and Woody - otherwise, Long goes to the pro bowl.

    Deal with it.

I'm saying we fell in love and moved up for that slob.

When we sit and wait in our spot - we pick a guy who overpromised and under delivered.

+1 without a doubt, I challenge anyone to go back and watch him in games, guys legit. He doesn't get beat by SPEED or POWER RUSHERS, can pull on screens/sweeps (made key block on Green TD @ CIN) guy is def under rated.

Its your opinion and this probably is the best moment to debate hours after today's game. There were numerous times this year that the JETS ran to the left. As far as him being overrated because he plays with Mangold, Woody etc is ridiculous.

Is Emmit Smith overrated because of the line he ran behind?

Why do we as fans discredit our players?

Jake Long is a good player, but he couldnt have been that good because the last time I looked Miami's rushing and passing game did not get them into a position to play in the playoffs.

D'Brick will be in NFL (barring injuries) 5 or more years longer than Reggie Bush or any RB for that matter.

Perfect pick at #4 was Ferguson. A bonafide franchise LT with a great attitude who has started from day and has improved ever since.

    What is the complaint?................

    WRONG.

Go look back at the 4th pick in THAT draft compared to what happened at 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

Then go look at the 4th pick in the draft from 1998 through 2009 and you will be un-pleasantly surprised at how well we did.

    Do some research!!

describe Emmet Smiths' career if we drafted him instead of Blair Thomas.
Do not discount the superior line he ran behind for years.

Sorry, but at 4, he should be one of the best in the sport - and he is not.
Schobel from the bills, owns him. Show him power - he folds.

I do see improvement - he has gotten thicker despite them only adding 5 pounds to his listed weight (they lied 4 years ago - he was likely 290 tops).

We wouldn't have Brick OR Mangold right now if they traded up for Bush. And Bush would have been brutal behind our OL.

Jetsound you are way off right now.
