Hey Raoul, are you a Flash fan?

Saw this report about a game between the Paris Flash and the Argonauts American football teams this morning on CBS...saw a dude with a Jets jersey in the stands...

    Pretty cool stuff.

Not a fan, but we do have a 5 or 6 team league. La Courneuve has been the best lately. Every team has a number of Americans. College level guys who didn’t get drafted.

I’d say American football is pretty popular. Obviously far behind the other football, rugby and other sports.

There’s been one French NFL player. Guess who he played for?

I’d have to look it up. It most likely comes form La Cour Neuve, which literally means “The New Court”.

Can't see the youtube clip? who was he?

We had one of our own, Tunç İlkin, play as I think a LT or a LG, for the Steelers in the 90's. I think he still coaches in the Steeler organization at some level.

Richard Tardits. 2nd string LB + Special Teams for the Pats in the 90's. If any of the Pats fans remember him, I'd be surprised.

I’m pretty sure he’s been the only one since it’s repeated every time he opens his mouth during the SB. He had a fairly good college career I think at Georgia. Has a sack record maybe. There are many guys like Pierre Garçon (or Favre ) with French names but who are Haitian (or other).
