Hey guys, yep, diehard Chargers man here, just popped in to see what everyone is thinking in regards to the ScareCro deal you guys have made.

Personally, theres a group of us over at the Charger Board that couldn't be happier to see his arse finally kicked to the curb..........total no brain cancer, that takes gutlessness to a new level, that will never live up to his potential, simply because he has nothing at all going on between the ears.

You'll love his hotdogging on the field, his twittering is legendary,( but you'll need a dictionary to figure it all out) ........ his partying and Champagne bottle throwing need so work though, and well we all know about the antics with the Ladies, its a never-ending story with this Primmadonna.

I really dont see the New York nightlife being of any interest to him whatsoever, I mean we are talking about a highly intelligent individual afterall.

No smack intended, just telling ya like it is ........ this is one trade you'll seriously be regretting come Xmas if NOT before, but we all over at Chargers.com Thank You for taking him off our hands.

    Good luck......
Agreed. Wow. You are an insightfull person. Yes all us Charger fans are singing Ryan's praises. Cro is a cancer that will spread all the way to Revis. They will forever be known as Grevis and Butthead. :D

Sounds like your bitter that he didn't give 100% on your team and now that he will be in a system that will make him (and the rest of our pass coverage) better it pisses you off even more. Bart Scott said today that they are going to teach him how to play like a Jet, and that entails hitting people in the mouth (sans champagne bottles). I will make a bet with you that there will be no regrets about this trade come Xmas. Whaddya say? Loser pays $100 to the winners charity of choice.

No smack intented, just tellingya like it is ......... welcome to the board.

Sorry I don't bet, but watch. He'll play good the first half, then get swell headed, and revert to his old ways.

now all we need is RiversMVP to complete the foursome of bitter losers angry that the Jets not only dumped their overrated sidearmer quarterback and turd ligntning dolts out of the playoffs in January but now have stolen their best defensive player for NOTHING in 2010 and, at worst, a third round present value pick in 2011.

I think I saw this bunch arrogantly and drunkenly harassing us in the parking lot at qualcomm prior to the game...

and then scurrying out of the place like insects swarming to get back under their rocks late in the fourth quarter

hahahaha, nice try ...you didnt see me there mate, Im to busy soaking up the rays down here in sunny Australia while your freezing your arse off there ........Cheers.

Your boys were to good on that day, no doubt about it whatsoever and I have no problem calling our mob chokers for such an effort..............but now the greatest choker on that day is YOUR problem, dont lose sight of that and if you think he can be taught "heart & desire", your barking up the wrong tree with this guy.

I havent come in here to talk crap, but if thats your game, go at it, way to old and been through too many wars for that my friend.

As for your calling ScareCro our best defensive player, well there goes any credibility you may have had within seconds, you wanna talk "real football", give me a call..............all I've said is I think you'll live to regret this trade, if that scares you into talking trash, so be it, but that just tells me you already know exactly what's coming in the way of this Cowardly Wuss............he's all yours, enjoy the ride.

Hes not a linebacker, i dont care about how he tackles as long as he doesnt miss a lot of tackles on the guys he's covering, which he doesnt. I have yet to see him miss a tackle on a WR. So who cares.

Why dont you pull out all the tape on him covering people and making ridiculous interceptions, scoring touchdowns, shutting people down? Start with the pick 6 on Favre in 08

One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Time will tell what happens here.

If he can cover, and not miss tackles when the receiver he is covering DOES make a catch, then I am ok with that. I dont suspect Ryan is gonna be asking him to play close to the line for run support.

If Revis can ALWAYS neutralize who he is covering like he did this past season, and Cromartie can JUST ABOUT ALWAYS neutralize who he is covering, that makes the secondary stout and that gives the other nine guys on the defense a bit of a mismatch being that there are only gonna be two maybe three more guys on the field that can advance the football.

Five off linemen... a qb... two wideouts... two backs... a tight end.

Revis and Cro eliminate the two receivers almost all day.

That leaves the defense nine guys to cover three guys that might be able to advance the football. I take those odds all day long.

Maybe Cro is a scum bag, but he complained about not being able to play more man coverage, right? Well... he will play plenty of that here. And if he can just keep his guy covered through his first move, I gotta believe the pass rush will be getting close to the qb before the qb has time to look at the second receiver, and before the receivers have time to make a second move to get free from their defenders.

He has gotta be an upgrade from Lowery, and even HE had a couple good games last year.

No worries. You can't talk smack, not after the way the Jets *****ed your team in their own house. Rivers done crying yet?

Norv signed on as an asst?

    Rivers to backup Sanchez?

Or did the Jets also sign that dancing, roided, overrated Merriman guy?

    Yes, yes, yes

Have fun with Norv and the most underacheiving team of the decade. We'll take pride in upgrading a defense that was already #1 in just about every category.

The Chargers window is rapidly closing, ours is wide open.

The concerns put on display by the Charger fans are totally legit. The guy sounds like he has had a year or two like Rhodes had last year. He is obviously not the smartest bulb in the pack. Make no mistake this is a risk reward type of pick up by the Jets and by no means a slam dunk great move.

The things the Jets do have going for them in this situation are:

Rex Ryan and a great existing defense.
Playing with a guy like Revis which might be a positive influence.
and the biggest factor: Contract year!

The move is worth the gamble, he could be a very good player for the Jets or he might be a malcontent but our FO is not afraid to gamble and I am fine with that.

Four reasons you may be wrong:

As dumb as Cro might be, even the dumbest of the dumb realize the value of making sure they show up big time during a contract year.

Rex will have him playing man/bump at the line, vs. the zone you guys seemed to be running -- which should benefit him greatly

He's not the #1 CB on the team anymore, so he won't be lined up across from the #1 receivers as much as he has been

Any man would have to be embarrassed about the scrutiny over that extremely pussified whiff on Green (and it WAS BAD!) -- he has something to prove at this point, and at least so far he is saying the right things about it -- admitted "I haven't been the greatest tackler, it's something I definitely need to work on," and admitting about the Greene play, "It's something I should have made the play on," instead of coming up with some lame "I had the outside contain" excuse like many of you guys were doing after the game
We have one of, if not the best secondary in the league right now. All we need is depth at ILB and a pass rushing specialist OLB and we're set.

I can see why the Sd fans are hating, but in the end, we've risked a 3rd pick two drafts from no, no much to lose if the move bombs.
