Safeties Fall. If Earl Thomas falls To 29, Tanny will look like a genius. IMO it is a possability. In the second round, once again safeties fall, Nate Allen or Morgan Burnett are great alternatives, and could Chris Cook be the Jarius Byrd of this years draft ? IMO it is easier to get a quality safety in the draft than a quality Corner.
Be prepared for a big dose of Jet Kool Aid. We are going to get "the open competition" routine from the front office on Smith and Lowery competing for Kerry's spot. I think the Jets believe, and Rex believes that Lowery can excel at the safety position. With that in mind, a post Kerry Mock.
1. Golden Tate WR- With Baltimore out of the WR market, Tate has a very good chance of falling.
2. Brandon Ghee CB- Never enough CB's , strong Man to Man coverage skills, replaces Strickland as Nickel in the first year
4. Jamar Chaney ILB- Linebacker with speed and coverage skills ( for an ILB), has to be the man on specials.
5. Joique Bell RB Wayne State- Small college Big back, Ground and Pound
6. Nate Bynam TE- A blocking TE with receiving skills
7. Crezdon Butler CB Clemson- Never enough CB's
