In many of our mocks we try and cover as many positions as possible and logically that seems to be the way to go but at times picking more than one player form a position, especially after the 3rd round can be a good thing. (obviously if you like the players there for you.)

For example, look at the Jets a few years back. Kerry Rhodes and Andre Maddox in the same draft. Rhodes in 4 and Maddox in 5. At the time many people thought Maddox was the better prospect. I think you significantly increase the chances of getting a pan out kind of player if you do this kind of thing. It's not something you would do all the time that is for sure but if you really want to cover a position that can be a way to go to increase your chances of a later round contributor.
