Thread: DONE DEAL: Tomlinson Signs W/Jets (merged)

  1. #21

    open up the playbook

so if the signing of LT is indeed true does that mean that finally after all these years, we will finally have good old schotty call a screen pass more. i mean we havent had a descent screen pass weapon since the days of richie anerdon it seems like.

its obvious that greene is our go to guy to pound the rock but how nice would it be to sit in those seats and see both are guys in the backfield, just knowing that LT is in there for a possible screen/WR/safe dump off option for sanchez.

What a GREAT move by this franchise!!!!!!!

LT for two years in this role is perfect...now, they can draft RB late this year, and let the guy develop behind one of the best all-time

    Tanny for president!

Um our screen weapon's name for the last 3 years has been Leon Washington and Schott is the one that doesn't call it enough.

    Agreed.

Him and B Smith now add interesting options in the Wildcat.

Good point. The last couple of years we have been able to sign big name free agents. LT In NY behind our line will be AWESOME.

Cringe-inducing for sure, but he did that while employed by a team in a sad-sack market. That kind of corniness doesn't fly in NYC.*

    LOL...Without a source.

You had two teams to pick from and took a guess and were right. Congrats.
