Anyone who says this deal is awful is nuts. Anyone who says this deal is amazing is also nuts. This deal is not a big deal. What's the difference going to be between 2009 TJ and 2010 LT? I bet it won't be much. The big difference in our running game in 2010 will be a healthy Leon Washington.

I love it! I was worried about our backfield after the loss of Thomas Jones, but now I'm loving it. If Thomas Jones rushed behind the Chargers O-Line for the past two years, Thomas Jones would have never put up the types of numbers he did with the Jets over the past two years.

L.T behind this O-Line? Are you kidding me? This could be fun to watch. I love it!

Shonn Greene as the war machine and then bang... Here comes L.T and Leon Washington. One thing thats great about having L.T... He's a dual type of threat due to his ability to catch the football. He's always been and still is one of the best pass blocking HB's in the game today.

    Greene
    L.T
    Leon

    Cant wait.
This is a terrible move by the Jets. LT is done and was boo'd out of SD. If they go trade Leon now, we are staring at a 7-9 season. This was a PSL driven move and the fact that most of you are excited by it just shows how easily you are enamored by big names. At first the PSL's were driving the Jets to make good moves that made us better, but now they are sabotaging a team on the cusp of a championship to sell tickets. What a sad day!!
We're not trading Leon for less than a 2nd rounder you nutty bastard!

We signed LT to basically the same exact deal that Jones got in KC. I'm sorry, but I'll take LaDainian F*cking Tomlinson over TJ anyday of the week.

Jones is as good as his O-line allows him to be. The guy has never been an elite talent. Tomlinson on the other hand is Top 5 all-time at his position. Yeah the guy isn't what he once was, but I'll still take a 31 year old LT over a 33 year old Thomas Jones, expecially with our O-line.

How are they sabotaging the team? I would say the team got better this offseason with the exception of the FS position but that's still up in the air as of now.

Welcome LT. This will provide some stability, leadership and diversity in the backfield. Perhaps drafting a RB to add to the stable would be wise, in the next 2 years LT will be gone.

LT=K "Hollywood" R to me. Quit on team during playoffs. Wishing he does good for the Jets but to me he is not anything more than a teacher to show Shonn how to prepare and how to be a pro. Maybe he can produce 750 total yards from scrimmage for the Jets but we still nedd a RB

Yeah i dont see why some dont like the deal. If he is done then oh well i mean we did not give up nothing for him. It is not like he is our starter, We have him, his name is shonne greene. Our depth is just much better now. Lt wont dance around a big gaping hole. We also have some one the jets are high on, chauncey washington waiting in the wings. Now we don't have to rush him. he can easily take over as the 4th stringer in the 4th quarter and bulldose people. Have a greene plow them down the first half mix in some lt here and there during the first half and sprinkly some leon in the 3rd then pound them with chauncy.. oh la la

very good point. He learned some stuff from jones, now he can show him ways not to fumble the ball.

So every move is PSL driven.

And the rest of the league makes moves without an eye on increasing revenue.

Other than the jets, because of PSL's.

BTW, get an original name. This one is taken, long ago.

Our running game is the most important part of our team. To me LT is done. He will probably be just as effective at TJ who was quite bad imo. I said in my post that "if" they trade Leon now it will kill the running game. Bc that would mean that LT is getting too many carries. If we keep leon and don't overuse LT than everything will remain the same, which is fine. But this is still a pointless move
