    Aaron Wilson, of the National Football Post, reports free-agent LB Lance Laury (Seahawks) is scheduled to visit the New York Jets Thursday, March 18, according to his agent, David Canter.

    Not familiar with the guy, but we need a good Linebacker who can play ST's.

    Apparently he's primarily a Special Teamer, and thats something we need with the depatures of Trusnik (in the Braylon trade) and Murrell.

    Guy is definitely a ST player but at his size he is no burner like Wright.

    He'd probably be a good potential replacement for Larry Izzo if he doesn't resign or Murrell if that's the case.

    Offense, Defense and Special Teams... If this guy can improve our Special Teams; I'm all for it. Too bad I know nothing about the guy though

    your probably thinking of the guy Alston, ST guy who we had in for a visit last weekend from Oakland. Laury didnt sign anywhere yet

    Post Jets sign LBer Lance Laury

    Jets signed LB Lance Laury, formerly of the Seahawks.

    With zero career sacks, Laury will be asked to learn the inside linebacker position in New York's 3-4 system. Primarily, though, he'll be running down kicks and punts. Laury led Seattle in special teams tackles last year.

    I know nothing about this guy, but its nice to see we are signing guys for STs specifically. We could use it.
