Chris Johnson led the NFL in carries of 40+ yards last year on his way to a 2,006-yard season.

    Picture Chris Johnson rollin'.
Those numbers indicate to some that the Tennessee running back knows how to get to the end zone in style.

But Johnson isnít just flashy on the field. Heís got some style out in the real world as well.

The picture to the right is of Johnsonís new Chevy Impala, which he recently posted on his twitter account.

    Yes, those are 30-inch rims.
This fella couldn't be more ghetto if he tried - hasn't he got some stuff on his teeth, gold or something? Just as well his behaviour is exemplary both on and off the field - he's a great player and credit to his franchise. When I think ghetto the image it conjures up is not one the league would be very happy with - guns and all that sort of thing.

BTW - I think he'll be done in this league in 6 years if he's lucky - the volume of work he gets is huge as far as I can see. Awesome breakaway speed but one injury will put paid to that.

.....and that vehicle is indeed terrible! If someone drove that in my town he'd be laughed out of it in quick order. :D

Maybe it's a Tennessee professional athlete thing? Took this picture in Memphis last year during a Blues Fest. Our hotel was across the street from the FedEx Forum where the Memphis Grizzlies play, and this was one of the player's rides. He also had a black Bentley Continental with blacked out windows and black spinning wheels. So classy.

This is where I start believing in the theory of parallel universes. There are people who actually go out of their way and pay mucho dinero for these abominations? And they get approving nods from fellow fur-coated, bling-laden dudes? Beam me up, Scotty!

I don't consider myself the be all to end all of cars but I'll admit I love modified cars and that's the only way I've come upon this.

The criteria says it has to be a dump ass ride (Chevy Caprice) that gets a lift and huge wheels you find on hummers and this is known to be a "Southern" state fad

And apparently now they love product placement...
