Bitonti made a nice pick for the Jets last year in the jiinsider draft with one of these type of guys.

Mike Wallace who was a late 3rd rounder of the Steelers.

I've been saying this since the SR Bowl... Citadel WR Andre Roberts is one of the most polished guys in this draft. Steal in 3rd

If the Jets get Jason Taylor they will go WR in 1 or 2.
Hate to see it but that handwriting may be on the wall.

For guys available to us, I like the following

4th- Danario Alexander: 6'5, 215lbs JUMP ON THE WAGON, THERE'S LOTS OF ROOM!!

Beast (that catch @ .45sec, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? don't muff this one tanny)

    Other than that,

Antonio Brown, Central Michigan all the way.

This Guy screams slot. he works the inside of field like magic. And that punt return at 1:00, beautiful

    After that i like

Marcus Easly as alternate 4th rounder

And i'd take a waiver on Mike Williams in the 6th if he was still there. Rex can straighten that guy out
Love Brown's open field running style. He seems to have a nice extra burst of speed whenever he needs it. Good call. Perfect guy for the slot for us.

It could be but it would be flat out crazy to by pass a better OLB/pass rushers prospect because we have added Taylor for a year or two at most.

With Taylor aboard, how about taking O’Brien Schofield in the 5th, let him rehab this year and you then have your OLB/pass rusher next year for a measly 2010 5th?

I can not agree with you more. But if they go with Taylor they MAY (strongly) go WR at 29. Even intelligent people can get caught up in emotion.

My go is still DE or OLB, then OLB or DE. WR in the fourth (maybe a trade up (4 & 5 for a 3).
If they go Taylor they will not draft a DE because they willo alredy have 5.

    Taylor isn't a DE in a base 3-4. He's an OLB

its futile trying to get that point across. Some ppl are doing everything they can to ignore our need at DE in hopes of landing a WR early

Same problem. Draft a young quick OLB rather than a washed up lazy guy.
No reason for Taylor on the Jets and no reason to draft a WR #1.

We are signing 36 year old OLB's and 40 year old QB's and we are all in a dither about 33 DE's and 31 year old DTs.

I agree and he was on my list but this thread is trying to emulate who the Jets would take with their 4th round pick as there is no 3rd. But yah A roberts is awesome.

Also, Collie from the colts was a fourth rounder last year.

I'm all about Antonio Brown. He's perfect for the Jets. There's a clip in his highlight reel where it looked like a guy had a great angle on him and he just out-ran the angle. Great speed, instinctive in the open field, and will be dynamite on special teams.

His old WR coach is now at UF in the same capacity and I'm willing to bet he's pretty technically sound.

There's no doubt in my mind Brown will be a terrific player.

hahahaha so the Jets should pass on a player because you're clueless as to who's playing in your backyard?

    That makes sense.
