don't notice much/any talk on these 3 players. Would you approve of any of these 3 being selected in Round 1? And/or would it be an overdraft?

    1) D'Anthony Smith

    2) Brian Price

    3) Ricky Sapp

Price yes... Dude is gonna be a star in this league. I'm not convinced he gets by Indy even though Indy has a HUGE need for OL.

Sapp no... Sapp is confusing though. He really shows a lot to like, but he just doesn't find ways to actually get sacks. he can get off blocks and he shows tremendous quickness/athleticism, but it never seems to actually work for him.

    No thanks on D'Anthony.

No to all of them. Sapp being the least of the no's. Simply because I think there will be better options there for the Jets.

i hear so much about how price is primarily a 4-3 dt. would the jets go to a pseudo 4-3 alignment and use multiple fronts to utilize this kid?

Just use him exactly how you used Marques Douglas. And on passing downs, move him inside as one of the interior pass rushers.

Jerry Hughes is a polarizing name in this forum. Don't understand why, though

Hell no. Don't think there's any chance Sapp is BPA at his position there, Price isn't a fit for our D and is sliding, and Smith would be a massive overdraft

There really isn't a name at 29 that we can agree on. And many of the names we collectively mention will probably be there at 39. It's a trade-down kind of year.

i think all this speculation is fun but completely unnecessary. Tanny will do his thing and completely mess up our plans

this is why this year's draft is so intriguing for us. we're not going to have any clue who we're taking unlike last year when everyone predicted a blockbuster trade with cleveland to move up and take sanchez...

    agreed.

unless an unexpected player drops, you're exactly right

I would be pretty angry with Smith and Price, but I would at least accept Sapp.

Word is that we love Jason Worilds though; I'd be a huge fan of him at 61.

    Hell no

Price isn't a fit, Smith is a reach, and I'd honestly prefer Worilds over Sapp.

    Arrow

I could live with Price. I think he can push the pocket and free up our guys on the edge.
