Picture this: Jets win the Super Bowl, cover of SI has Taylor holding the lombardi

Can you imagine if after 40 + years, the lasting image of the Jets winning their second super bowl is jason taylor dedicating the victory to miami?

Whaaaa? First of all if the Jets win the superbowl, I dont think they are going to have our 3rd down pass rusher on the cover of SI. It'll be the MVP Sanchez duh.

    But yeah...dump.

That would be the greatest picture ever!

How good would it be to see Taylor win a Super Bowl in a Jet uniform.

I think the back page of the post should say tomorrow "If you can't beat em...join them!

    Hahahahahaha!

just as long as taylor is about the 45th jet player to hold the trophy. there are others who will be more deserving of the win.

Am I the only one who would have no problem with this?

Every single day prior to today I've hated Jason Taylor, and being a Jets fan, he's essentially hated me. But today is different, he's here to try to do exactly what we want to do...win a Super Bowl. It'll take a little while to get used to and he'll have to earn the cheers he gets from us. But, Rex wanted him....Mr. T wanted him...and they got him. I would smile from ear to ear watching Jason Taylor wear green and white while getting his only Super Bowl ring, one more than Dan Marino has!

It took a few weeks to used to Ty Law and people forget how weird the sight of Bryan Cox wearing a Jets helmet in 1998 was.

Again, JT will have to earn it but the first time he turns that corner and barrels in on Tom Brady no one will cheer louder than me!

I hate the Taylor signing as much as anyone, but if we win the Super Bowl, I don't give a damn whose on the cover of SI. We would have just won the ****ing Super Bowl.

Unless Taylor has a Jerome Harrison Super Bowl XLIII esque performance + another big play (like a big strip sack), there is no chance Taylor would grace the cover. Would probably be either Sanchez, Scott, Revis, Rex, or maybe even Tomlinson.

Bad night tonight with the Devils and I'm pretty pissy.

    I disagree.

This twat should be nowhere near the cover of SI unless he puts up absurd numbers, which at 36 isn't going to happen.

I hate Jason Taylor, but for him to get the cover of SI that issue, he would have to have a huge, possibly MVP worthy moment in the Super Bowl. In which case, yeah, I think I'd have to forgive him.
