You're right. They were hugely influential on the next generation (or two) of bands. Just not enough folks bought the records, I guess. Too bad, I hated the whole Buster Poindexter thing. But got to see Johnny Thunders in Manhattan a million years ago.

These guys couldn't do justice to their legend; like the Pistols, they were better in mythology.
